RECIPE: Overnight Oats (Vegan-Raw-Gluten-free)
This is a great breakfast during your KMD FULL BODY CLEANSE.
Peanut Butter and Banana Overnight Oats: (Serves 2)
If you don’t like Peanut Butter no worries, you can make it without!
Ingredients:
1 large ripe banana, mashed (about ½ cup)
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup rolled oats (Do not use quick or instant cooking oats) If you need to eat Gluten-free get gluten free oats
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon light agave or honey (You may use more if you like sweeter oatmeal)
Optional Toppings:
Sliced Bananas
Drizzle of Agave, Maple Syrup or Honey
Cinnamon
Dark chocolate shavings or chips
Coconut shavings
Directions:
-In a medium bowl, mash your banana with a fork.
-Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl.
-Mix until well combined. (Mix well! The peanut butter needs to be evenly distributed)
-Pour the mixture into two airtight containers. (Yes, you can just cover the mixing bowl tightly with plastic wrap. I prefer to refrigerate individual servings)
-Refrigerate the oats for at least 3 hours or overnight.
-When ready to eat, stir well.
-Add toppings of your choice and enjoy!
Play around with the flavors. Instead of bananas, try blueberries. Not a fan of Peanut Butter, leave it out.
